Pulsar 67 DosemeterPulsar 67 are advanced Data Logging Personal Dosemeters and as such the measurement functions that are provided by the instrument have been designed to meet the requirement of industrial Noise at Work regulations and standards such as the EC Directive 86/788 EC.
The design allows them to be carried in a pocket or on a belt with the microphone mounted close to the ear; the metal case gives the instrument much greater protection from knocks and electro-magnetic radiation than an instrument housed in plastic.
Pulsar 67 come complete with the 60Setup software as standard; this allows stored Events and Short Leq data to be downloaded from the instrument to a PC via the RS232 serial ports. 60Setup comes with default measurement parameters and allows the user to change the operating parameters of the instrument, these different configurations can then be permanently stored and recalled at any time. The 60Setup software can also be used to programme the sound level meter to automatically stop and start events.
