Olympic Torch Arrives in Filey amidst loud cheers!
Jun 18, 2012
Monday 18th June was the day the Olympic torch arrived in the town of Filey where Pulsar Instruments plc operate from. We did not want to miss this event and joinned the expectant crowd of hundreds of people who had waited patiently for its arrival.
We also took our Noise Quantifier sound level meter to check out the noise level from the crowd!
The torch was received amidst loud cheers and Jonathan, our International Sales Manager, recorded sound levels of up to 116dB.
The parade was over all too quickly but we were pleased to have been part of this event.
You can see more photos of this event on our Twitter account @PulsarMeters and additional information on our Pulsar Quantifier can be obtained via our website
